The “how are you” question

When people ask how you are doing, what’s your default reply?

I say “I’m fine” without thinking because I’m always fine. And there are a few friends that say: “how are you really doing?” And I go on a tangent of my hectic (regular) week or of my most recently boring weekend.

I’ll tell you the truth: I really am fine. Not because I do not have a lot going on in my life or that everything is perfect, but in the imperfection of my life, I serve a perfect God.

I choose to be fine because through Christ, I am fine. Through Him who bought me by His blood, I will remain fine. I choose to speak positively.

I want you to go in this light for this week and tell yourself: IAM FINE BECAUSE THE LORD IS WITH ME.
